Module 4: Linear Optimization

MO1: Formulate the mathematical modeling of a wide variety of linear programming (LP) problems (CO1,2,3,7).

MO2: Identify major business application areas for LP problems including manufacturing, marketing, finance (CO3,4).

MO3: Demonstrate how to set up LP problems on a spreadsheet and evaluate them using Excel’s Solver (CO5,6).

MO4: Analyze the impact of changes in objective function coefficients, and constraint coefficients on the optimal solution of a linear programming problem (CO5).

MO5: Discuss limits and barriers of application of BI in corporate world (CO4)
